Ethics & Philosophy
At Gabriel Foundation, ethics and philosophy are not separate from the work. They are the foundation beneath it. Every funding decision we make, every organization we partner with, and every relationship we build is rooted in a set of beliefs and non-negotiables that we hold close and transparently.
These are some of our non-negotiables. The criteria by which we choose the organizations we partner with and the contributions we make.
We also choose by character.
We don't only choose by category.

Money given without conditions is money that can do its fullest work. That is what Gabriel exists to give.
Freedom in Giving
We stay. Funding is not the end of our involvement. It's the beginning.
We do not fund and disappear.
Compassion is not a feeling to be held privately. It is a practice, enacted in the world, sustained over time, and accountable to real communities and real lives.
Our Philosophy:
It needs the ones that exist to have more resources, more freedom, and more of humanity behind them.
The world doesn't need another NGO.
We partner exclusively with organizations that operate independently of government and large institutional funding, are deeply rooted in the communities they serve, and unwilling to compromise their integrity for funding.
